🚗 Getting There

From Granite Falls, drive the Mountain Loop Highway. The Lake 22 Trailhead is 2 miles past the Verlot Public Service Center.

📝 Trip Notes

  • A terrific first hike of the season!
  • Patchy snow until ~1800 feet, then pretty slushy. Packed powder for the last half mile.
  • Snowshoes might be helpful if you want to do some exploring around the lake.
